Mitch + Maddy | Married | Smits Farm – Chicago Heights, IL

This day couldn’t have gone any more perfectly! Weather that wasn’t too hot or too cold, not a rain cloud in sight and topped off at the end of the evening with a applaud-worthy sunset. As I entered the room where Maddy was getting ready, I noticed that some were getting finishing touches on makeup, some were steaming their dresses, but Maddy was calmly sitting and having a sandwich talking with some of her bridesmaids. She was just SO calm! Her calmness was contagious and everyone was just so excited and ready!

Throughout the entire day, I just loved that Maddy was always laughing and full of joy. Although, the person that made her laugh the most was always Mitch! I just loved watching them together and how they consistently made each other smile! Mitch is the more quiet and introverted one, while Maddy is the more talkative and extroverted. Their families talked throughout the day about how they were made for one another and how they make the perfect duo!

Their First Look took place at Goodenow Grove, which also was the scene for the Proposal and their Engagement Photography session.

Mitch & Maddy had their reception at Smit’s Farm and this venue has been on my bucket list for quite awhile! It was in a large greenhouse and after this day, I decided that it is just such an ideal venue for a wedding like this. Every little detail was thought of including thousands of twinkle lights, a wall of donuts for dessert, and so much eucalyptus and greenery everywhere!
