In all these weird and strange times, it is so healing to just have a bit of normalcy to our lives!  Getting to spend an afternoon with these two did just that for me.  We met at a huge piece of property that Nicks uncle owns and took a warm-than-usual October Saturday to explore it all!

Emily and Nick met while attending Illiana Christian High School and while their stories about how it all started and who had a crush on who slightly differ…one thing about the story is very consistent.  While in a Sociology class, they got “paired” up to do a project on marriage.  One part of the project is that you have to go on a “date”.  It can be something as simple as just eating lunch together in the cafeteria together but Nick took it a step bigger and asked Emily out to the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights. The rest is history.
