When my kids were little and I was dreaming up this business, I was a little fearful that once I was pursuing my passion as a business…that the photos of my own life and my own children would get put to the side.

I had witnessed this with other people…the regrets of spending too much time on clients and not enough on my own family… and that loomed over me.  I knew I had to literally have a plan to make sure that didn’t happen to me!  So I made it a goal/plan that every year when B & H had a birthday, I would do a photo session of them.  They get to choose most of the details of that shoot like location and clothes etc.  Then every Fall, I would make sure to do a session of them together.

Fall is the busiest time of the year for photographers, so this session is always the hardest to manage…but I would like to announce that I have managed to not miss a year yet!  Woo-Hoo!

I so enjoy going back and looking at years past and seeing how much they have changed.  It is the ultimate reminder that time moves so quickly.  So thankful I made time to do these!
