They attended different high schools but still ended up crossing paths anyway. She would dog sit for his dog at times and when I asked where their first date was…they both responded with question in their eyes.  Because there really was no “official” first date.  They were already friends and they barely remember when it distinctly became “more that friends”.

Four years later, they were engaged this past Memorial Day weekend at Buckingham Fountain. Upon arrival to the Chicago landmark, Julie & Drew’s ADORABLE daughter walked out with a sign that asked her mama if she would marry her daddy!  To which Drew was down on one knee with a sparkly ring ready as ever to  place it on her left third finger.

This coming August, they will tie the know and I know that little Ava is pretty excited about it all!
