If you follow me on Instagram or are a fan of Sara Kate Photography on Facebook  (you should be if you already aren’t!), you would have noticed a post on Monday night that was somewhat odd!

It was a picture of my bare feet!

The caption on the “feet photo” explained on how Monday night will go down in the books as being one of the most surprising sessions I have photographed!

While we were enjoying the evening at the beach, someone was taking our shoes just a few hundred feet away from us!

Crazy isn’t it?

Before all that went down though…we had an amazingly beautiful night on the shores of Lake Michigan!

I seriously am having such a hard time picking my favorites to show you!

They are ALL turning out to be my favorites…and you all know that the beach is my most favorite place to photograph my families!

It didn’t take long for these little men to melt my heart! (Logan, Camden, and Nathan)

This little guy surprised his mama (and everyone else!) by being born almost TWO months early!  Camden is just a few days away from his first birthday too!

And these two are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year!

Their sweet family of FIVE!

Special thanks so you guys for being able to laugh at the shoe mishap and having to drive home without any shoes!  Thank goodness for drive-thrus!
