Every time I got together with Kirsten & Mark before the wedding, I would tease and say that I put in an order for REALLY great weather for their wedding day.  So when I awoke on Saturday and the weather was GORGEOUS and there was no rain in sight…I smiled!

This day was almost six years in the making!  From the moment I met these two, I felt connected to not only them…but also their love story.  As Mark said in his vows, August 16th, 2010 was the very best birthday he had ever had.  It was the day he met Kirsten!  They both have careers in areas that kindness, servant hearts and love is a necessity.  That describes Kirsten & Mark perfectly!

These two follow a long legacy of love and commitment.  At their reception, a large table was set up that was strewn with wedding photos of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents…it’s as though they were being passed the “baton” and Mark & Kirsten were SO ready for that baton!

As we arrived on Saturday morning, the first thing I noticed in the bridal prep room was that Kirsten was so incredibly calm and collected.  No nerves.  No bit of anxiousness was present!

Mark & Kirsten…your joy is contagious!  You took in and enjoyed every single moment and I loved that you both never stopped smiling…all day long!

May you continue to spread all that kindness and joy…only now united as one!  I can’t wait to see how God uses you together!

Mark & Kirsten decided to do a “First Look” and Mark’s reaction was beyond priceless!

After the “First Look”, we had come time to do some bride/groom portraits and enjoy the weather!

The Bridal Party showed up perfectly on time and everyone had a blast seeing each other all dressed up and looking good!

It was finally time to head to the ceremony!  When Kirsten arrived, her dad saw her for the first time in her dress…

And just a few minutes later, it was time to give her away to Mark.
