From the moment I first met Cara I noticed that she was such a joy-filled person!  Cara & Mike were in the bridal party of Paige & Drews Wedding and even then I noticed a joy and love for one another and others around them!  A just about a year and a half later…it was their turn to become husband and wife!

Cara is a classic “city” girl and Mike is a rugged “country” boy.  Their October engagement session had a such a country rustic feeling to it and their wedding had a classic, formal feel.  I think that it was the perfect compromise to their personalities!

You know what the best part of the whole day was?  Watching the two of them…despite the weather being way off for June and things not all going as smooth as planned…just love each other and go with the flow.  Because in the end?  It’s all about the marriage right?  Despite having enough rain to build an ark for…the rain stopped just at the right time for us to get some bridal party and bride/groom photographs!

Cara & Mike…I have not only fallen in love with YOU as a couple but also with your sweet families!  You welcomed us in to your family like we had been there all along!

Cara was nothing but relaxed and peaceful while she was getting ready with her girls!  She just kept saying “I am SO ready for this!”

Mike was pretty at ease too!

When Mike purposed to Cara, he had put her ring in an Altoids box.  It was only fitting that we take some photos of that!

There were some prayers offered up by those closest to them just minutes before the ceremony was set to begin.

Their bridal party was made up of such a FUN group who all dearly loved these two!
