If we are “friends” on Facebook or Instagram buddies, I am sure you have noticed I use the hashtag #imtheluckyone quite often when it comes to my kids.  There are those that have seen that hashtag and said “Your kids are lucky to have YOU!”.

My response is instantly “while my kids are lucky to have lots of people who love them in their life…I am WAY more lucky for getting chosen to be their mom”.

Because when it comes to Ben and Haley…I feel like I won the kid jackpot.

They are far from perfect.

But so am I.

They are just like a lot of other tweens out there.

But I am a lot like other parents out there.

These two though have rocked my world since the day that pregnancy test showed positive.

They are my greatest adventure.

When I do family sessions, I try and take some different combination photographs that include moms and their children.

So today, with Mothers Day just around the corner…I want to celebrate all of you moms out there!

The job of being a mom is not for the weak hearted.

It is the most difficult “job” I have ever had yet it has brought be the most joy.

There are bad days.  There are great days.

There are many days that are etched in grace. (Thank goodness for grace.)

So all of you moms out there…keep on keepin’ on.  You ARE doing things right.
