When you first meet her Lisette, she seems like a quiet shy girl. She was exactly that way when she first met Ian!
Only for Ian…this drew him to her even more.
He was home on leave for Thanksgiving and was hanging out with some friends for the evening.
Lisette was at the same hangout with her mom and sisters. They were out for a GNO (Girls Night Out) and were having fun just sharing stories and being together.
But when everyone else was out on the dance floor and talking with strangers, Lisette hung back for a bit.
Ian noticed and couldn’t keep his eyes off of her!
He made his move and began to talk to her.
They talked a lot that night.
Then he called her the next day and they spent some more time just getting to know each other.
There was a twist coming though…Ian was set to be out of the country for 3 years.
Three long years.
They decided to be “just friends”.
It was a long three years. Both Ian and Lisette lived their lives and didn’t talk much.
But then one day…he called her on the phone.
He explained that he was back and he would love to see her and reconnect.
So they did.
And they picked up right where they left off. Like no time had passed at all.
But this time…they fell in love.
Their relationship hasn’t always been easy with all the distance and space in between them.
They cherished the time they DID have with each other and realized that soon…they could be husband & wife.
Their wedding day started out a hot, sunny Summer day and turned into a downpour just as they were set to start the ceremony. When the promises had been made and they sealed it with a kiss…the rain stopped!
Ian & Lisette…thank you for letting me tell your love story! Enjoy every single moment of your time together…your time together is SO precious!
Much love,
Sara
I LOVE when my couples choose to do a first look before their ceremony! It provides time for some intimate portraits with just the two of you and the reactions from the grooms are priceless!
Lisette & Iam chose to do their First Look in Cedar Lake, Indiana at the Lighthouse Restaurant. It was HOT in that direct sun but Ian couldn’t wait to see his bride!
Lisette! You are beyond stunning!
Lisette also had an impromptu “First Look” with her son, Bryce! His reaction was pretty much the sweetest thing I have ever seen!
