When my older brother announced that he was moving to North Carolina…amongst the sadness (they were moving from TEXAS to North Carolina…you know how I feel about Texas y’all!) I just knew that I would have to plan a road trip this Summer with the kids to see and explore this beautiful state!

A couple of weeks ago…it happened and North Carolina didn’t disappoint!

I don’t know which part was the most beautiful!

The mountains…the huge farms or all the trees set up on the hills!

I do know that next to Texas…it has my vote for the “MOST BEAUTIFUL” state in this country!

Almost of the photos I took are from my IPhone…which just didn’t capture the gorgeousness completely but it will give you an idea of what we have fallen in love with!

We swam, played tennis, relaxed, played legos, met some new friends, watched movies, and spent time with family!

Haley got to spend the mornings at a local horse camp (she is obsessed with horses!)

That horse on the left side was the horse that Haley spend most of her time with.  The horse on the right was a horse that she fell in love with and would talk about ALL the time!  Haley truly comes ALIVE when she gets around horses.  So fun to watch!

While Haley was at Horse Camp, the boys kept busy reading and playing…

It was truly awesome to get away and have some play time!
