It was a chilly Autumn Sunday and they were relaxing and watching football.

Half time arrived and Michael (having something up his sleeve) suggested they walk to their favorite donut shop and grab some sugary goodness.  Why donuts?

Because donuts are their thing.

They had their very first date at Stan’ Donuts (excellent first date choice in my book!) So, on this particular Sunday…this wasn’t out of the ordinary for Michael to suggest donuts.

But he did suggest walking a different way through Oz Park.  And although that was a bit of a different route…Caroline didn’t overthink it.

Once they were in the park…Michael fell to his knee and asked Caroline to be his wife.

Not only did she say yes but they met up with both of their families to celebrate the awesome commitment that just happened!

Caroline & Michael met at church and it didn’t take long until their were inseparable.

They both live in Lincoln Park and have had many walks and time spent together in the area.  This has turned into one of my very favorite areas to shoot in!

It was chilly and a bit windy (after all, it IS Chicago) but these two were at ease in each others arms.
