My cursor blinked a lot of times before I even pressed that first letter on the keyboard in front of me.

Sitting here, trying to figure out just the right way to describe not only this pretty amazing engagement session but also the engaged people I got to photograph.

I have known Becky for awhile.  Probably not near as long as some of you reading this blog post, but I have watched her grow up.  And I have stood in awe at the woman she has become.  In high school, I knew her as a young girl who had a good head on her shoulders who adored kids and had a heart for the Lord.

Off to College she went and I watched her grow even more into an amazing woman.

She was home on break one time and I remember asking her whether there were any certain “interesting men” that were around campus.  We talked a bit and she mentioned one in particular and said how great their friendship was and how she just wasn’t sure what to do.  Keep him as a friend or date him?

Fast forward and I got to meet this “guy”.

At this time though they were best friends with “no romantic anything.”

But I knew better.  😉

So when I got a text just a few weeks ago with a picture of them with that ring on her finger…I literally squealed!

It’s been so fun to watch their love story happen!

If any of you are still reading this…congrats because I think I would have just scrolled down to look at the preview of these two adorable “kids” (I know they aren’t kids anymore…I can’t help myself though!)

Congratulations and love go out to you two…can’t wait to capture your very first moments as husband & wife in May!
