The weather forecast when Northwest Indiana woke up on Saturday morning called for a bit of snow. What resulted from that forecast was LOTS of the white stuff that never stopped all day! While it made traveling a bit difficult…it also made for a magical, Narnia-like background for photographs!
As I made my way into Katie’s parents home, there was such a feeling of peace, coziness and love. The feeling and theme that was woven throughout this day was love. Quite often throughout the entire day, love was spoken of and felt.
The overwhelming love of the Lord.
The love that Katie & Steve share.
The love of two families blending.
The love of friends that really are considered family.
Love was felt.
So much love and congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Vander Zee!
I hope you are enjoying every single second of your honeymoon…have a margarita for me ok? 😉
Katie wanted to have a First Look just for her dad and brother (how sweet is that??) and she also gave her dad a few special things. She had found an old letter that her dad had written her when she was just 13 years old and it talked about the idea that maybe one day they would dance together at her wedding to the song “Butterfly Kisses”. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Then we were off to weather the snow for the First Look!
